Groupie Nite!!

So tonite I went downtown with Andrea to see the Houston Press Music Showcase of all the nominees this year! It was pretty cool! Without realizing it, BOTH Andrea and I wore black and white stripes. One of the singers' (that Justin (Andrea's bf) works with) girlfriend ended up wearing the same thing too but LONG story on that one!

Well turns out that the lead singer of one of the bands that was performing was wearing black and white stripes too! He tried getting a picture with my shirt at an earlier venue (which was HILARIOUS!!!) Well turns out his friend's camera didnt take a good picture so she told us we needed to take another one! So here are the pictures that we took on the street (from my camera!) I totally look LAME as shit but it was fun as hell too!! ENJOY! (can you tell I didnt do a good job at POSING like everyone else! UGH!!)

Thursday night...

I love nights out with the girls...to be honest, I havent had this much fun since college. We do the 'long night' thing where we do tons of things fun...here's the (four) pictures I have from our last night out...BW3s, Astros game (we loss..boo!), Little Woodrow's and then Red Star....fun times!

the connection
Current mood: pessimistic happiness

i had an amazing conversation tonight...its been a long time since ive had mutual feelings shared with someone that i had a connection with.

its hard to find a good connection with a person of the opposite sex. too often sexual/physical attraction prevails. once all that is satisfied, you're left with nothing. to have that deeper connection is amazing. being able to share your thoughts, feelings and whatnot freely has always been a goal of mine. i like being able to be goofy, flirtatious, carefree with someone of the opposite sex. the highest level of comfort is amazing!

i've come to realize that its not hard or uncommon to find the connection. its just difficult to find someone that works for you that you have the connection with.

I had a nice conversation tonight with a random person...its kinda sad sometimes because you can really enjoy something with a perfect stranger and unfortunately never ever run into them again. It's funny because he claimed to have done a little bit of research to find my blog, which seemed to be true since he was pretty accurate with the description! So here's to you!

It was definitely fun and enjoyable...I really was hoping to be able to do it again....here's evidence of it...sad but true but I posted a missed connection...lol maybe I was interesting enough for you to come and look at this again...if not, it as still fun! =)

Marco Materazzi - Italian ASS HOLE??

So I dont know much about football....not a damn thing about futbol...not even enough to really talk about it. But I did see the World Cup final and I was EXTREMELY shocked by Zidane's headbutt of Materazzi but from watching this little video clip, I'm starting to think that this guy is a bit of an asss!! Seems like he's very violent on the field...or maybe all football players are like this?? I dont know! If Materazzi really did make a racist comment towards Zidane, Materazzi deserves more than a headbutt! He deserve a whole ass beating! Well attached is a video clip made by some fan...it shows the good and bad of Materazzi! I find it interesting..check out at time 1:58, he actually KICKS another player in the crotch! Accidents DO happen but sometimes it looks tooo intentional!

If you're ever in a Pakistani jail, sleep with ONE eye open!!

So I thought this was the weirdest article I've ever read and THUS had to share it! A Pakistani inmate woke up complaining of pain in his lower abdomen. Doctors took him to get a x-ray done and this is what it looked like:
After studying the radiograph, doctors realized that he had a lightbulb in his ANUS!!! (OMG, can you believe that!!) Apparently it somehow got there while he was sleeping! Doctors had to go in and operate for about an hour and a half to remove it. Worst thing is they had to make sure it was taken out in one piece! OUCHIE! The inmate believes that either other inmates or staff at the jail placed it in there! Doctors dont believe it but who knows!!

*SIDE NOTE/ANALYSIS*
Seriously though...how do you get a lightbulb into someone's ass!!! And then, how do you sleep though someone sticking a lightbulb in your ass!!! OUCHIE!! He must have some nerve damage there???? Anyways, that has to be quite a strong lightbulb for it to go in and not break! He was a lucky/unlucky man.
