Another reason why leaving teaching in a year will be hard....

So some of my former students have been emailing me on myspace. Here's on of the messages:

hi ms. vo how you been . It's me oscar, maria's cousin . She told me she found you on here i just wanted to say hi. And i really miss your class! Well take care Ms. Vo. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE TEACHER!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!

He was definitely not one of my best students. If anything, he had to retake IPC this year but at the end of the year, he finally came to the realization that I was trying to bust my butt for him to pass. He gave me this little beanie kitty as a gift. It was a totally cute gesture.

One of the moments where you realize that all you've been working for isn't for NOTHING!! =)
