I can't sleep!
dude, I'm majorly screwed! with work officially starting this week (minus the kids) and teaching starting next week, I dont have much time to get back into my normal sleep schedule! I'm just lying in bed, staring at the ceiling, stressing over a bunch of random things. how the hell am I suppose to fall into a peaceful sleep?? I'm going to dead tomorrow at the science dept meeting. . OH WELL!!
maybe I'll count something. . .sheep, fingers, toes, hairs on my head, cars driving by, SOMETHING!! I'm going to go nuts!! if none of this works, I might have to resort to passing out via vodka!!

Why stress over things you have no control over? Just stay true to your beliefs and convictions, love only the ones that love you, and put your foot down when you know you are right, damnit!
What do I do when the going gets tough? I listen to music until I am free and happy!

well thanks for that little bit of advice Anonymous!! i'm also a BIG music person. listen to it every night to fall asleep but it wasn't working last nite. it's driving me nuts how much is on my mind sometimes! it's okay though. in time, it shall pass too!!
duuuuuuude!!!! I am having the same problem!!! You know how you have different parts of your brain that do different things and think different things--like multi-tasking almost?? right...well they were all going a mile a minute when I tried to go to sleep last night! I may be psycho--but I ended up getting all of my brain focusing on "shhhhhhh" so that I could stop thinking--and dude, it totally worked--I went to sleep. It was weird...does everyone have different "voices" in their head? That sounds nutty--but I think everyone does. okay...so try that?? I don't know--it's 9:15 and I'm still not dressed and ready to go to work....YIKES. We are screwed.
Derek has a fucking tongue ring....that has upped his level of hotness considerably.
hmmmmmm......ya know......you gotta do what you gotta do and that's it.
