the most fun i've had with kids in a while!
today was the last COSMO meeting of the year! it was actually a big relief and TONS of FUN!! there was TONS of pizza since not all the kids i expected to come showed up!! its kinda a waste! we hung out, took pictures, ate pizza, drank soda and played SPOONS!! OMG, lemme tell you, it's been YEARS, probably a DECADE (omg i can't believe i can use the word decade!) since i've played spoons! Tily and i played with four students. . lemme tell you that teachers and students are cheaters alike!! LOL some are just better than others at it! we had tons of fun! it's times like this that i'm going to really miss certain students! i just think it's amazing how you get different behaviours/reactions to/from different students during different situations. one of the best things about being a sponsor, for sure, is just seeing the students go through realizations! one of my students says that she's learned to let loose when all the studying is done. today, she let loose by having TONS of cookies and being super hyper. good kid. . .emphasis on KID! 2 more days left! wahooo!!! i cant wait!!
