my first Rockets' game!
I got to go to my very first Rockets' game tonight. i really had fun. Toyota center is a pretty nice place. Our seats were up in the boonies, steep steep but i could see everything so thats good! we ended up winning 89 to 78 so free Big Macs tomorrow for all ticket holders! YEAH!! LOL im thinking about going to another one on friday. we'll see!

should i call him? i dunno. i think im' about to give up on the fact of hanging out with the big oak. haha oh wells. . .

i love the fact that i have a set of gfs to go out with now! its too much fun! i went out on saturday nite with friends and ended up checkin out volcano in the village which was cool but ended up partying up at the LounGe on montrose! tons of fun! we saw someone else there and got the hookup!! gotta give thanks to my "cousin" Carlton for gettin ME(!) in!! it was crazy fun! totally loved the music and stuff so we're gonna have to go again!

in other news. . . lets say i've been a big tree enthusiast lately! hehehe i would love to be his affectionate angel anytime! to be honest, he seems to be an interesting package of looks and intelligence and stuff. i need something interesting in my life. hopefully we'll get to hang out soon!!

I'm EXCITED!
well on a happy note, next week is a 4 day work week! WAHOOO!!! i'm excited!! i think the plan is to go to Austin and/or San Antonio with the girls for the weekend for fun! If we go, its gonna be soo much fun!! =D

i've been extremely discipline, working out and stuff. my body is constantly in a state of soreness. i guess thats good right?

in other news, after the fight in my class last thursday, two girls in the SAME class decided to fight approximately 20 feet outside of my classroom after school. i was NOT pleased! they're suspended for 3 days. exciting. . .

oh yeah, i have duty all this month at work so i better go to bed. im TIRED!!

Another day. . .
WOW! i wish i hadnt passed out last night so i could have posted but just wanted to update the final two bowl results. Auburn beat Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl and MOST importantly, USC CREAMED, KILLED, PUMMELED OU in the Orange Bowl with a final score of 55-19. i know that there have been worse UT-OU scores but for the national championship, that sucks!! Especially since that was TWO years in a row that OU lost the national championship. . last year to LSU.

oh yeah, in other Orange Bowl news. .the halftime show was kinda crappy because of all the sound problems they were having. i totally LOVE kelly clarkson's Since U Been Gone. its such a GREAT song. now to the talk of the day. . ashlee simpson. OMG her performance SUCKED!! i mean, you know its bad when a crowd of (mostly) your peers BOO you off stage! Good way to end the halftime show! wahoo!! when you've been booed by 72,000+ crowd, its time to reconsider whats going on. it sucks enough to end 2004 with all the lip-synching/acid reflux thing involved with SNL and NOW starting the new year with just flat not being able to sing. also having to change the lyrics of LaLa because of the "racey" nature of the lyrics (is french maid really that bad?) made her look like she didnt even know the lyrics to her song! more thumbs down, booing, jeering, ect.

I've come to realize that i need to get more sleep! not sleeping SUCKS! it causes me to crash early, like after dinner which isnt good! but on the plus side, im gonna start working out at school. did some elliptical training and biking in the workout room. dayam, im really out of shape or the machines are super tough! (i wish it was the latter but i know what the right answer is!) oh well, hopefully i'll be able to get better at all of this. it has been a while since i've done any working out! =x

i really dont like it when ppl arent good at responding at email. . .esp when they're the one that told you to email them! =( yeah. . .its because i have a small crush! LOL. . im a silly little girl.

New Year Resolutions
I, Jane V, of sober mind and somewhat clean body, promise to attempt the following resolutions for 2004:
*work out more regularly (jogging, pilates and biking)
*be more involved in outdoor activities (tennis, frisbee, biking, ect)
*do more work, less BSing
*keep in touch with people by calling to say hi more regularly!
*take more pictures
*be more clean and organized!

Hopefully i wont break too many of these resolutions!!


OH yeah, last night in austin was AWESOME. i really do love my friends! i hung out with Mike and Ankur. Tons of FUN! lets just say i was inebriated. . BIG TIME! i guess thats what happens when you have a shot of jager, 3 shots of tequila, a girly shot and a girly drink. Results = falling on my ass and losing a shoe in the rain. FUN TIMES!

In addition i talked to GD tonite. he's too freakin hilarious! no wonder i liked hanging out with him sooo much! times like this i wish he wasnt tied down! doesnt that make me sound HORRIBLE?? oh well. . i know its purely just a friend thing. =)

I cant believe its now 2005! it feels like the year has just FLOWN by! here is my 2004 wrap-up

*graduated from UT (wahoo!)
*got my first real job!
*got a laptop
*went to france
*flew on a plane for the first time
*moved back home to houston
*and much much more. . .

oh yeah, UT beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl at the last minute, 38-37. Dusty Magnum pulled through with the last minute field goal! It was FREAKIN AWESOME!! good way to start of the new year! yeah!!!
