a week of personal ups and downs
so this week was personally a roller coaster of sorts. i had the week that made me consider quitting teacher! it sucked that bad! the kids were rowdy and obnoxious and luckily i wasnt the only one experiencing and thinking that! i dunno if i can make it till christmas nevertheless till may!!

i've come to realize that sometimes things happen and we dont understand why. one of my good friends had a personal down this week and i was shocked! i love this girl dearly and i hate it when my friends go through tough times so girlie, as promised over the phone, i will be there for you this weekend to party it up! =D

this past friday was awesome! just some good ole fashion hanging out! i learned how to play texas hold'em! quite exciting to say the least! i dunno if i would ever really play with the big ballas but it was interesting learning! it was the first time in a long time that i just sat around and drank in the company of peers! yeah for random invites!

hopefully this week will be better or i'll have to seriously consider taking the friday personal day!

I didnt understand the whole idea of the Cardinals walking Berkman until my brother explained to me that they did that because Jeff Kent sucks but MAN!! what better way to say "F*CK U Cardinals" than hitting a homerun that brings in two of your teammates to win the game! YOU GO JEFF KENT!! Brandon Backe and his awesome pitching and Carlos Beltan and his awesome EVERYTHING.
Astros lead the series 3-2. GO STROS!!


Red Sox wins tonite 5-4 in the 14th inning. Talk about LONG GAMES! Again David Ortiz wins the game for the Soxs! Amazing how the underdog pulls through!
Yankees lead 3-2. Go Sox!

LCS Update
Astros beat the Cards, 6-5, tying the series at 2-2. Game 5 tonite at 7pm
Red Sox beat the Yankees, 6-4 in the 12th inning, Yankees lead the series 3-1. This game ties for the LONGEST ALCS game. Can you imagine? its already 1:30 over there in Boston! they're gonna be going CRAZY!! Game 5 tonite at 4pm tonite.

Its gonna be crazy tomorrow nite! I hope both the Astros and the Red Sox win!

Today is an acceptionally great nite to go out but I'll have to wait and see.

In sad news today, I missed a step on the stairs going up and broke my toe nail after getting my first pedicure! Now I gotta find a way to glue my nail back together before it kills me!

In good news, my bro got the an eyetoy and we played eyetoy groove last nite! FUN STUFF!!

*First cold front of the season! Its kinda nice to be outdoors thinking "Dayam, I wish I had a jacket!"
*At my first every 9 weeks grading period, I failed around 35 students. Im still deliberating if that makes me a hard teacher or a bad teacher. I think neither. I think it shows I have LAZY students!
*Football is not doing well! My kids are losing.
*UT is now 0-5 against OU. At least they held them to only 12 pts but then they shut us out period. On the happier side of college football, Nebraska got killed by Texas Tech, 70-10, their worse loss EVER!!

it only gets worse!
so today i gave my 2nd day of tests. lets say the results havent really gotten better! can you believe the one student that i had with a 100 average made an 88 on my test? maybe it was a lot harder than i thought!! but the funny part was that someone else was there to break THAT class's curve! hahaha.
i've never felt soo stressed out in my life! who would have thunk it! its funny but this was a random thought that crossed my mind as i was grading papers, since apparently im still at school so i can enter grades and all that stuff!! i think sophomore year one of my friends told me that she was thankful for her bf because sex was so stress relieving. guess what i wish i had right about now? LOL =X lets see what else. . .
im sure there's something else on my mind but i cant think of it right now. doesnt that suck? geez!! maybe teaching is gonna be tough after all. . or at least a lot tougher than i had thought!

my kids are NOT soo smart. . .im worried
so today i've gave my A day classes their test. lets say i came home with a headache after grading one class' tests. so what do i do when only 6 out of about 20 kids pass my test? first off, i realize that the ones who failed are the ones who didnt study or care to do any of the work! i think once i get the last two classes grade tonite, im be in for more distress! the fun part is i get to do it all again tomorrow! i think its time to worry. i dunno. . .apathy in students = NO GOOD!
