Evolutionism vs Creationism
so lately in class we've been discussing this topic and i always thought that biology majors would have MORE acceptance of evolution or some part of it. . .but apparently thats NOT the case. . .when it comes to Creationism, most people believe that God created the world just like the Bible says in Genesis. . . THATS IT! no leverage whatsoever!! but i think the best way so far that i've heard to incorporate both ideas is to believe that got create that single cell organism or whatever and from there, evolution took place! i really hate the fact that most people dont understand evolution, thinking its just that we, Homo sapiens came from monkeys when its MORE than that!! of course these Creationist Bible huggers dont wanna think they came from monkeys! what about Adam and Eve?!?! i think its all a conspiracy! we're really monkeys but we just have come to believe that we're "human", whatever that means!! i think when it comes down to it, i cant consider the Bible has HARD CORE evidence for Creationism, like this one girl said in class. . . i mean, in my previous life, I could have written the Bible for all we know and created all this stuff up, JUST FOR KICKS! what then?!?!?! makes ya think eh? Jane = God?? =X
